Sean Mulvaney, MD completed a fellowship in sports medicine and is currently a sports medicine physician at Fort Meade, Maryland. He is an assistant associate professor at the Uniformed Services University, teaches military sports medicine fellows and family practice residents, and specializes in ultrasound guided musculoskeletal procedures, including spine procedures. He was the first Department of Defense physician to use platelet rich plasma and autologous adult mesenchymal stem cell therapy for musculoskeletal therapies and is currently the only physician in the Army that can certify other physicians in these techniques.
