David Tran, MD

Dr. Tran completed his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Kansas. Following an internship in Chicago, Dr. Tran completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Emory University, where he learned the latest pain management and sports medicine techniques. He also trained at Shepherd Center, one of the top rehabilitation institutes in the nation for spinal injuries. Dr. Tran joined Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery in 2018.

Dr. Tran is double board-certified, by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the American Board of Pain Medicine. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Tran and his wife live in Atlanta. He enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu and watching Braves games

Dr. Tran focuses on the non-surgical treatment options for painful spinal conditions. His goal is to help patients improve their quality of life by restoring function and reducing pain. He uses a comprehensive approach that can include physical therapy, medications, and interventional procedures, such as spinal injections, stem cell therapy, and spinal cord stimulation.
